The Icom IC-P7A VHF/UHF Dual Band FM Transceiver combines small
size, VHF/UHF dual band capability, wide band receive performance and
outstanding battery life in a great easy to carry HT. Weighing less
than six ounces with the BP-243 3.7V, 1800 mAh Lithium Ion Battery and
dual band SMA antenna, this HT is a pleasure to carry. Battery life is
rated at 20 hours by Icom. Using the included drop in rapid charger,
battery recharge time is about 3 hours. In addition to VHF/UHF ham
bands, wide range receive coverage is included from 30 MHz through
999.99 MHz less cellular band. Air and Marine band receive is included
with complete NWS weather band reception. Power output is 1.5 watt
VHF on high power and 1.0 watt UHF on high power. On low power, output
is .1 watt on both VHF and UHF.
The IC-P7A include 1250 memory channels in 18 banks, and full
CTCSS/DTCS encoder/decoder capabilities along with auto repeater
functions. Different scan types are included along with tone squelch
and pocket beep functions. PC programming is possible with optional PC
software and programming cable (not included). This new Icom package
